Expolanka Plantations (Pvt) Ltd

Expolanka Plantations (Pvt.) Ltd. was established in 2004 and is managed by an experienced staff always committed to maintain high quality and standards.

The company maintains a tea garden named ‘Leveson-Gower’ Estate which produces one of the finest low-grown teas in Sri Lanka which are in high demand in the Middle East and C.I.S. countries.

The ‘Galaxy Tea Factory’ is also owned and managed by Expolanka Plantations. It mainly produces black tea of different grades.

The factory is in close vicinity to the only rain-forest in Sri Lanka, Sinharaja. As a result, the factory is producing high-quality teas which fetch premium prices that are far above the elevation average.

All teas produced are sold under the garden mark ‘GALAXY’ through the tea auction which is the largest tea auction in the world. Most of GALAXY tea is bought by leading exporters of tea in Sri Lanka.
